Artificial Intelligence Lab (AILab) is a cutting-edge research and development facility focused on artificial intelligence and multimedia processing, where multimedia not only serve as a subject of research but also as a supporting mechanism and a tool for communicating AI applications. The laboratory is dedicated to developing intelligent systems and applications that utilize AI for analyzing, generating, and transforming multimedia.

Its main research areas include computer vision, multimedia content analysis and creation, natural language processing (NLP), and the development of interactive AI solutions for augmented and virtual reality. The lab’s goal is to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence and multimedia technologies through research and practical applications. It has its own computing infrastructure for running local AI models and also leverages cloud services for additional capacity.
